Description: Rare, Unusual Antique Simpson Hall & Miller Treble Plate Figural Hinged Casket Trinket Box with Dark Purple Lining. Measures 4" x 3.5" x 3.25". In lovely preowned condition with original purple fabric lining. Bottom liner, which consists of cardboard with fabric attached, is not fastened to the bottom and can be removed. The top fabric-lined cardboard section is attached in the middle to the interior lid; the rest of the piece is not attached to the metal. I have not tried to polish the box, but left it with its dark patina. See photos for all condition details!
