Description: For Sale 2 pairs of Markel Art Deco Slip shades. Sold separately We had an antique lighting store for 40 years and are selling our remaining stock. These two sets are essentially the same but if you look closely at the photos you will see a slight difference in them. Size varies slightly as well as color . Set A I am certain were original shades from the 30s. They are a little less shiny and a softer amber. Set B I am almost certain are recasting made later, up til the 80-90s. They were sold by B & P lighting. Do not know if they are still produced. but will be around $100 e. Set B are slightly narrower at 4 9/16". You can use them in old lamps but I always put a dab of silicone on inside of frame next to edge of glass to keep them from moving. We have a frame listed for these shades, if we were still selling lights I would have found extra shades for this frame. eBay item number:176641929278 Please look over the photos, I have included information in the photos.
