Description: This chalkboard hung in the rec room for about 60 years. Well cared for and in great condition. The is some glare from light but slate is true black both sides. Wooden frame is tight no wobble at all. One small area of wood damage lower left at seam. See pics. Measures almost 13" by almost 9". Very lightweight for childs use. We use to write on this now and then with a small piece of charcoal or slate but I can't find the little "pen" that hung on it. It was on a piece of yarn or string that finally broke and I put it up for safekeeping. If I do find it I will forward the piece to buyer free of charge. There is still so much to go thru. I want to let everyone know I appreciate your looking at my items. I am not an expert but have grown up since a very young age around flea markets antique stores and such. We worked flea markets from Michigan to Ohio to Shipshewana. And antique stores from Michigan to Florida. 99% of the items I'm selling are from my family's private collection of over 60 years or my father's used book and record store. I will always try to give accurate descriptions with as much detail as I can see, but my eyes are a little old and tired now.
