Description: Antique Spring Bridge Pince Nez Reading Glasses (No Chain). A pair of antique gold pince-nez reading glasses with a spring bridge, made before 1890. They are very delicate due to age but have an outstanding antiquated appearance. The lenses are prescription, so they’ll have to be replaced with the buyer’s prescription if they’re going to be worn. The frames are approximately 4” across. The nose bridges are very worn (one of the nose pillows is missing its top portion) and read “S-Q.” Good for display or to refurbish for everyday use. A perfect piece for collectors of vintage eyewear. The case has a leather interior and a velvet exterior. It appears to be the original case, but this cannot be verified.
