This example has an engraved floral and foliate design, fully engraved to reverse and engraved "DEG" (?) fancy font monogram to the front. Perfect size for typical business cards. Made by the firm of Hilliard & Thomason. Without original box. Markings: Fully hallmarked for .925 sterling silver, Birmingham 1879. Please see images above. Weighs 70 grams. Size: Case measures 3 3/4" (9.5cm) tall, 2 3/4" (7cm) wide, a touch over 1/4" (.7 cm) deep. Condition: Item is in used condition - polished but not overly cleaned, so the engravings are crisp and clear. There are small dents around the edges (e.g. corners, as per images), and a small split to the silver at the corner (see final image). The engraving is crisp and clear.
