Description: This is a fabulous antique fob medal pendant necklace. It is a large size and is made of sterling silver with a rose gold plated shield on the front. What a fantastic find and a great addition to any antique jewelry collection. The back of the medal has an inscription reading - Burnley Athletic League Champions J. Tomlinson 1896-7. The shield is 9ct rose gold plated over the sterling silver. ANTIQUE CONDITION - and has surface marks, scratches and scuffs from age and use that are typically found on antique jewelry pieces. Please examine all photos carefully. MEASUREMENTS - The medal measures 2-1/8 tall including the bale and 1-1/2” wide at its widest point. The genuine suede leather necklace measures 30” long and ties in a knot in the back.
