Description: Here we have an amazing and extremely rare 5 INCH "Wedding Ring" bowl in TAN & Blue glaze. This bowl is commonly found in blue and white, but this blue and TAN is extremely hard to find. This piece is nicely molded and is in original MINT "as made" condition with no chips, cracks, hairline cracks, or repairs. A few mold imperfections that are original to the manufacturing process - they add character to this great piece! The glazed bottom surface has blue smudges and finger prints that were done during the manufacturing process. It has the usual manufacturing characteristics found on OLD yellow ware / stoneware (i.e., pits, pops, glaze skips, rubs, runs, bubbles, glaze separations, staining, crazing, and wrinkles & lines in glaze). This piece measures approx. 5-1/8” dia. at the top rim x 2-5/8” high. This is a wonderful piece that would be a great accent piece to any yellow ware country collection.
