Description: Antique Swedish Tripod Tea Kettle Pot - Hand Forged Hammered Copper & Iron 1900s Condition:Not perfect. Some Dents, scratches, oxidation and natural patina. See Pics This fantastic antique Swedish tripod form tea kettle has been crafted from hand hammered copper and iron. This piece has a traditional form with a domed lid topped by a finial made from a thick strip of copper fashioned into a standard Swedish scrolled ribbon-like shape. The curved goose neck spout is positioned high up on the body. The rolled iron handle extends out from a thick spade-shaped piece of iron that is attached to the body with three copper rivets. The three iron legs are attached to the body in the same manner and are finished with slightly splayed feet at the bottom designed to provide stability. Upon close inspection, one can notice small and subtle hammer marks along the curves from blacksmith who crafted this kettle. Beautiful patina on this handsomely worn artifact.
