Description: Beautiful complete set of man and woman in 17th century costume produced by the American Encaustic Tiling Company (AET or AETCO) in Ohio, attributed to Herman Mueller (see reference book text in photos -- book not included in sale). Mueller worked at AET 1887 - 1894, so these are likely from that period. In very good overall condition, just one or two real edge chips -- see photo. It is hard to find complete sets of matching figures in excellent condition like this.
