Description: Nice antique tin cook stove top or campfire coffee pot with removable insert in all original patina & condition. This tin coffee pot is nicely made, it has a hinged lid and removable brewing basket that fits inside the pot. It also has a weighted base, a very unusual item. I think this could have been made for a cowboy living out on the range and cooking on a campfire every night. The tin coffee pot is only 4" high As with most antique tinware, expect to see some evidence of slight rust. A very nice early piece of American tinware.
