antique TOC 1902 Mead Amazon wood rim fixie bicycle restored with original parts

Description: TOC 1902 Mead Amazon. this rare bike was only offered by Mead for one year only in 1902. this bike was purchased from the grandchild of the original purchaser in Chicago, illinois in original complete unrestored condition. this bike was professionally restored with much attention to the original details. the original color was matched as best as possible. automotive grade paint was used. all parts were nickel plated using the old school hot water method, which is similar to how it was done back in the day (no electrolysis). the original wheels were restored. all original parts were used and restored. the only reproduction parts are the tires (which are hard foam) and cork grips. the original pin stripe graphics were traced and reproduced as water foil transfers and flowers (orchids) were hand painted. again this bike was professionally restored over ten years ago. so a little patina has naturally come back during storage. some of the water decals have partially rubbed off. please see all pictures for additional details and condition. this bike is a rider and ready to roll down the road. this is a great addition to any collection with focus on TOC bikes. especially early hard to come by Mead badged bicycles. this is a tall frame bike. 24 inches from center crank to seat post. this bike has 28 inch wooden wheels. this bike is an original fixed gear bike with no brakes. original mounting peg is on left real axel. please allow at least 4 days for shipping/handling and packaging. bike will be packed safe, secure shipped in a timely manner. package will also be shipped with insurance at no extra cost to the buyer. please feel free to ask any questions. more pictures available upon request
