Description: A 19th century burr walnut cased bracket clock, the arched top above the painted dial set with Roman numerals and silent/chime subsidiary dial, with triple fusee musical movement playing on 8 bells and striking on a further bell, height 44cm.The Arched top case with glass sides, One side being an opening door to access the movement, To the rear also has a glass panelled door, The front door is lancet shipped with bur walnut veneer throughout, Resting on for brass bun feet.The dial measures 17cm wide, 23cm high, corner painted with acorn/leaves, Black Roman numerals with solid brass hands, The upper has a strike/silent dial.Inside the rear of this clock boasts a large triple fusee movement playing on 8 bells and hour striking on a further large bell with pull repeat, This clock plays Cambridge chime.The case appears to be in original good condition, No major damage, only a couple of small veneer losses to the rear boarder/door frame.The dial is in wonderful condition without damage, Rear door lock has been removed and filled in space, Front and side door locks are present and a key will be provided.This clock is complete with the Pendulum and winder will be provided.
