Antique Victorian 1890-1920 Hand Painted Porcelain Planter Jardeniere 8 3/4"

Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Porcelain. Beautiful small late Victorian hand painted porcelain planter jardeniere. Probably from Germany or possibly France. Has a printed underglaze blue Crown and Shield hallmark that is unfamiliar to me. Dates to the 1890-1920 time period. Circa 1900. Beautiful shapely form. Reticulated pierced on sides. Hand painted florals on the outside as well as small hand painted flowers inside. Gold gilding highlights. Condition is very good for age. No chips, cracks, or repairs. It is nice and clean. Some minor gold gilding wear as expected on a piece of this age. Beautiful example. Measures about 8 3/4" long (end to end). It's about 3 3/4" tall, and 5 1/2" side to side at extremes.
