Description: This stunning original black velvet cape circa 1890s is a truly spectacular piece. Gorgeous soutache and bead work. I see no missing beads. Absolutely superb condition. Large hook and bar closures at the collar. Small pocket inside the lining. Wide, decorated collar that can be worn up or down. Natural shoulder up to about 20" Back length from seam below collar is 27". Lining has a couple of very small imperfections. see images. Definitely a statement piece!
