Description: Antique Victorian Black Lace Skirt Polka Dot Silk Ribbon Details Sheer Stripe This beautiful antique skirt features black lace with a micr-square print that mimics polka dots from afar. The bottom hem is adorned with silk ribbons that start roughly 33" down from the silk waistband. These ribbons are spaced about 1/2" apart from each other and form 5 stripes. On one of the ribbons, one end is sticking off of the skirt slightly, roughly 1/2" off (see photo). The bottom hem is a raw cut that has a few minor pulls and snags. The skirt itself has 5 repairs done, as seen in the photos as circles with dark outlines. There are a few holes in the lace; one side seam has a 3.75 inch tear, and there is a small hole toward the bottom of the skirt. The other side seam features a hook and eye closure, and an intentional 9.5" slit for taking the skirt on and off. Please refer to the measurements below.
