Description: This is an excellent original antique (late 19th century) Eastlake style walnut foot stool, loaded with charming details including burl wood carved side pieces and turned spindle accent legs, it has a newly applied American drum, flute and flowers needlepoint top. Condition is excellent; the needlepoint upholstery, braided blue binding around the edge, and light tan cloth underneath are all in mint condition and appear to have been done recently. The carved walnut frame is original and in near-mint condition with only a couple small nicks on the corners of the legs that are not obvious. There is very little obvious wear elsewhere. The entire piece is sturdy and solid, the stool measures 19" wide x 15" deep and 15" high. This has the original springs in it for support and is very comfortable for feet or to sit.
