This pen is so cool looking and better than photographed. It is an early writing pen which has been assembled to look like a rain umbrella. It looks really old. Likelly 1800s. Carved wood handle removes to reveal the pen and the nib. the center section is a fabric covered umbrella with nail posts. This part stays "closed". Remove the bottom metal tip, and you see the slate pencil piece which you can turn around to put on the tip of the umbrella. Some patina on the metal part, but very cool.CONDITION: Vintage and used.
