Antique Villeroy Boch Mettlach 2893 1197 Fishing Couple German Pour Stein As Is

HERE WE HAVE: An old Villeroy & Boch pottery stein made in Mettlach Germany! This piece is marked with numbers 2983 and 1197, and is referred to as "Fishing Couple". It appears this style was made in two capacity sizes.. I don't have a measuring cup here to determine the capacity, so please see measurements below! CONDITION: Being sold as is, for parts or repair! This piece has a few spots of damage. The thumb handle on the lid was broken almost off, it's still attached, but barely hanging on. The handle was broken and repaired at some point in time, you can see a few repaired cracks. There's a pretty large chip to the tip of the pouring spout and a couple short cracks coming off of the chip. There's surface scratches, scuffs, color loss spots, and discoloration spots scattered throughout. There's crazing to the pottery here and there, this is most visible inside of the top edges of the piece. Remnants of an old sticker (looks sort of like a stamp in shape/style) on one side of the stein. Will come exactly as shown, so please see photos! MEASUREMENTS: Stein measures approximately 11 1/2" tall excluding the lid. The diameter at the widest points is approximately 5". SHIPPING: Calculated.
