Description: OVERVIEW: Here’s a c1920s 935 silver brooch by Theodor Fahrner. The design is centered by a large faceted rectangular piece of chrysoprase in a knife-edge bezel setting. The faceting is very cool in that it resembles the underside of an emerald cut stone. The chrysoprase is surrounded by a geometric frame studded with marcasites and trimmed with a narrow band of black enamel. Original tube hinge, pin stem, and C-clasp. MARKS: TF 935 DIMENSIONS: 1 5/8” x 1 1/4” WEIGHT: 14.63g CONDITION: good antique condition; the bezel is slightly bumped in at the top right corner and it looks like there’s a very teeny bite in the stone there; minor surface chips in the enamel that don’t go down to the metal * * * NOTE: eBay’s new listing form sometimes fills in item specifics that I did not select.
