The artwork landscape is a watercolor painting (see photos). The painting depicts a wooden American landscape with a small stream and several trees. The painting is painted on paper laid down on a stiffer paper board. The item is from an estate liquidation. The painting has some writing on the back side identifying the location as: Near Little Rock, Arkansas and it is dated for 1881 (see photos). The painting is an original antique work of art. The painting is signed by the artist, but the signature is illegible to me (see photos). The painting has a nice Impressionist style and it date to the Mission, Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts periods. The painting is not framed. I will include the matting if desired - only if you request it before I ship this out. The artwork as shown in the first photo measures in total about 22 inches high and each is about 15 inches wide. The item has some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). The items would be a nice home decor item or to add to your vintage art collection.
