Knabe from Baltimore, MD. in 1892. The serial number is 38094. This 130 year old piano has a hand carved quarter sawn oak art case in original finish. The internals are in very good condition including all 88 keys, soundboard, pin block and beautifully hand painted frame. Recent service includes the action removed, cleaned, adjusted and reinstalled, broken strings replaced and professionally tuned. This rare musical instrument plays and sounds incredible and includes an antique quarter sawn oak piano bench with needle point pad. The piano DOES NOT include a music desk. This VERY RARE and beautiful 130 year old piano is a testament to the hand made American quality of the Wm Knabe Piano factory from the 19th century and is a GREAT value.
