Description: Antique World War I “Girl Military” Women’s Spats Boots Red Cross? RARE! These boots read “Girl Military” on the inside. I am not sure if these are a part of a women’s Red Cross uniform or an army uniform. Additionally, I am unsure if these are the original spats to these boots but they are period correct (from the 1900s). The boots have various condition issues. The leather is deteriorating a bit (pictured). They are rather dirty/dusty on the inside. The bottoms are very scratched from use, wear, and age. These are not in wearable condition. I have not attempted to clean or wipe these boots at all, I do not want to damage them. The spats included are in good shape. The buttons are tight and the straps still both work.
