Description: Cleaning out some of my antique Clothing Projects! Charming antique girl's summer dress. Drop waist style with a wide filet crochet lace edging. Interesting birds and flowers! Short sleeves with delicate french lace. Dress is a little yellowed from age and storage. Still starched! Will surely come up brighter! Lightweight cotton~will not come up to a stark white! The filet lace is a cream color~very yellowed now. Hook and eye closure in back. Shoulders 11" across. Bust/underarm 13" across. 26" long from shoulder to bottom of scallop pointsI have not cleaned or treated this dress. It's been stored for years and years. Crisp from the old starch still in it. Dress fabric is in good shape. I see a couple tiny pinholes and a tiny fray on the corner edge of the back neckline. Might have had a pin holding it closed that wore a small hole. The filet lace is very yellowed and has no damage. The french lace on sleeves has holes and wear~would be easy to replace! No odors. No dry rot. We are a non smoking home.
