Description: Here is a pretty antique & salvaged hand made lamp shade! It was made in an octagonal shape and measures 10" across at the widest.It was made with clear, beveled glass pieces soldered together; the metal is thin & coated with what looks like a brass coating.Measurements: 10" across point to point X 5 1/2" top to bottom so it's sort of small and would be for a smaller lamp.The glass on the sides is 2 sizes--every other one is longer/shorter than the one next to it--see pics. CONDITION: Antique, salvaged, used, the brass does have some corrosion/wear/rub in several spots. It is hand made so probably not perfectly symmetrical.I think it would need to be on a smaller lamp or at least one with a smaller bulb; I tried it with a normal sized bulb but thought that looked too big. Top to bottom is just 5 1/2" so keep that in mind. Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
