Very large.Tapies used his art to promote Catalonia's struggles, and throughout the 1970's his work was marked by symbols of Catalan identity. This is best seen in this poster for his show at Galerie Maeght, where the message "Visca Catalunya" -long live Catalonia- is scribed across the four bars of the Catalan flag.
