They cut a Finger Groove into the handle and the blade is thick enough to be a Thumb Rest for control and safety, and the handle is 4" long molded to fit your hand. The Blade is 3" long with a 2 1/2" Blade Edge very sharp 1/8" thick and 3/4" wide. These knives we have were made on 8/12/23 you are not going to buy a newer knife or stronger.
