Description: Appaloosa Spirit Horse Trophy Award Prize Belt Buckle The Old ApHC Logo! You will wear this buckle with pride. Gorgeous Appaloosa belt buckle with a long history behind it. The leaping "Spirit Horse", a blanket patterned Appaloosa with eagle feathers braided into his mane and tail was created in the early 1950s by my father, Dick Spencer III, of the Western Horseman magazine for the Appaloosa Horse Club headquartered in Moscow, Idaho. The ApHC changed logos many years back, but in the eyes of many of us "old timers" the leaping horse icon is our classic favorite! I also have "Spirit Horse" earrings and a Lapel or Hat Pin listed. The Appaloosa was selectively bred for speed, endurance and agility by the Nez Perce Native American Indian tribe in the northwestern United States. A unique buckle sure to bring admiring compliments wherever you wear it. Pewter buckle (about 3" x 2-1/4") will fit a slim or wide belt up to a 1-3/4". Perfect for trophys, awards, prizes at horse shows, fairs, presentations. Track Page Views With Auctiva's FREE Counter
