The AVANTI line was designed by master toy artisan Riccardo Chiavetta of Jocky Rome. Wallace and Berrie acquired world marketing and added the name Jockline in 1982. This is a beautiful example of the craftsmanship by this Company. The entire plush Body appears seamless. This is as close to real looking Bear as you want to get. Much detail to the eyes with a black leather strip around its eyes that make then look very real. No scratches to eyes or nose. His nose is also made of leather. The plush hascoloring & shading to give dimension with detail so you get darker areas around the paws & around the nose. He also has the Cutest ears ever. Made of the finest materials plush fibers and lighter fibers intergrated into it that capture the look and feel of Natural Animal fur. Each piece is hand sewn, stuffed with precise detail, then shaped. The result is a Beautiful keepsake to treasure a lifetime. Photos that Plush appears lighter were taken close up to show tag details. Original tags are attached to the bear. It is from Avanti Animal Collection 1982 Wallace Berrie. In very good condition. No damage, tears, rips. He was gently luvd by previous owner. He measures 18" H 14" across at his widest point. Great bear for the Collector. Comes from a smoke free home. Would make a GREAT GIFT.
