Description: It's May of 1993, and spring is in the air in Cupertino. Which, for the Apple faithful, can mean only one thing -- it's time to make the trek down to San Jose for this year's WWDC -- Apple's World-Wide Developers Conference. It's been a little rocky in the Apple universe recently, but there's not, um, any HUGE reason to worry about the viability of the company or the platform, especially when WWDC is here to show off all the cool stuff coming down the road. And, of course, it's time for you to pick up the latest swag... Such as this. It's the bag given out at the 1993 WWDC, and a fine one it is. it's really more of a briefcase than a simple tote bag, with about 4 inches of depth. Very solid rip-stop nylon throughout, and a shoulder strap to boot. The inside is a single large space, with a small pocket on the outside, just above the Apple/WWDC logo. This particular one is in excellent condition-- no stains, tears, or anything like that. Nicely sized, and a great way to show your Six Colors pride (even if the main color here is, well, black). The "rare" designation on this item is well-put: I can't find any other instances of this bag anywhere on the internet. If you'd prefer something more in a purplish direction, you might consider this one, but, either way, you're into a very rare part of the Apple swag world. I suppose there might be a few bags in some Cupertino warehouse that is even dustier than my garage, but why go to Indiana Jones lengths to get one of them, when these are right here? Grab it!
