The slide is constructed from a heavyweight metal alloy giving the CAP a hefty, realistic weight making it perfect for training and simulation. Front and rear serrations make weapon manipulation easy and milled channeling along the top of the slide keeps glare to a minimum and a stamped American flag gives you a sense of patriotism while dispensing plastic freedom out on the field. The CAP uses the same tested CO2 system used in their successful line of ACP pistols with all the external tactical upgrades that players have asked for. About the D-MOD System: The APS ACP series of CO2 powered blowback pistols have been overwhelmingly popular with airsofters all over the world. Through feedback from the end user APS found that some users preferred to use Green Gas as opposed to CO2 and others couldn't use their favorite ACP at their favorite CQB or indoor fields. APS took all of this user feedback and used it to develop their D-MOD gas system. D-MOD pistols are compatible with both CO2 and Green Gas (Each gun comes with one CO2 magazine), shoot at an FPS that is legal in most popular CQB/Indoor/MOUT fields.
