Description: RARE COLLECTIBLE!Off White Milk Glass Scalloped Plate manufactured in 1989 by ARCOPAL France for the bicentenary of the French Revolution (1789)The plate features a Blue, White & Red ribbon as French flag along the top of the plate and the French motto “Liberte’. Egalite’. Fraternite’” (Freedom, Equality, Fraternity) at the bottom of the plate. The center of the plate features a group of Women revolutionaries with the French motto, "La NATION et le ROI" (The Nation and the King). Back of the plate has the following markings: ARCOPAL FRANCE (dishwasher proof, microwave). Plate Diameter: 9 1/4" Inches Great condition with no chips or cracks, but may have light scratches or minor trim wear.
