Description: This uncirculated 5,000 Peso Argentino note was introduced by the Central Bank of Argentina in 1984 as part of the Peso Argentino series and signed by Pedro Camilo Lopez and Enrique Garcia Vazquez. It is a maroon note that measures 155 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side shows olive leaves and a portrait of Juan Bautista Alberdi. Its reverse side shows the painting “Los Constituyentes de 1853” by Antonio Alice. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a San Martin watermark. The note was demonetized in 1988.
