I've collected Argus items for over the past 45 years exclusively and I've never seen duplicates during that time. Two came from Alaska, two came from Michigan and one came from Illinois. It took me nearly 30 years to get all five of these. They came from antique camera dealers and camera pickers. The C-3, Argoflex, 21 and A2 displays have an area where the camera is able to be displayed on the display itself. Please see those individual photos as to where the camera is able to be displayed. Folks, I collected Argus items exclusively for the past 45 years with an emphasis on items in the original factory box and dealer items. I paid a VERY HIGH prices for these examples but did not mind at all. When I was actively collecting Argus, I did not care what I paid for items. If I wanted an item, I paid high prices for them. These are the only examples of these dealer items I've ever seen. They are being offered for sale for the very first time. These are quite rare items since most dealers threw them away following Christmas. I will also be listing an Argus C-3 in the original box with the Christmas Band around the box. I've only seen two of these bands during my Argus collecting time. One was around an Argus M (I sold that one about three years ago) and the one on this C-3. I even sponsored the five MAIN U.S. Argus collectors with the most knowledge and extensive collections for a long weekend at our home a few years ago. Much new and specialized knowledge about Argus items was shared during that "Argus Weekend". You would absolutely know these folks and you can talk to them and ask them about my collection. At one point, I even owned an Argus Model D (YES, MODEL D) which was sold to a major collector about 5 years ago. We began selling our collection about 5 years ago and we have sold a ton of Argus items during that time. We still have many common items along with some very rare Argus items (including prototypes) left which we will be listing on eBay over the next year or so.
