Made in approximately 1996 in South Korea. The black finish still looks great after 30 years and for the price you can't really get better quality. There are a few very minor scuffs and dings.. and a little pick rub, but it is very light. I would rate the finish 9/10. All around good guitar... excellent value for your money... ready to play and enjoy... just need to tune it up first! (tuned down for shipping)
