Description: Arlington Park - Friday. June 23, 1961 - A Day At The Races It opened in 1927 and closed in 2021 after 94 years of horse racing. It was the birthplace of the Arlington Million, which attracted racehorses worldwide. Arlington Park had owners, jockeys, and trainers who were considered some of the best. The horses who ran were John Henry, Dr. Fager, Cigar, Alydar, Secretariat, Round Table, and Citation, to name a few. The Breeder’s Cup was also run here. Today, the grandstand has been torn down, and the Chicago Bears own the land. Arlington Park was my home track for summer racing action from 1986 until the track closed. If you make multiple purchases, the shipping cost will be corrected, and I will refund you the balance. I greatly appreciate your interest in what I am selling.
