Description: This listing is for is for two 1/2 A U-Control, Profile, model airplane plans. This set of plans consists of the Aronca Champ & the Lockheed Vega. This is the airplane that crashed on landing and killed Wiley Post and Wii Rogers back in 1935. It is also The plane that Amelia Earhart was flying when she was lost. The Aronca Champ is almost as well known wo0rold wide as the Piper J-3 Cub. These are somewhat simple to build and fun to fly. Perfect for small area flying. I haven’t done it yet but these could be electric C/L for school yard use. The fuselage is 1/4 balsa with built up wings. You may want to try sheet balsa or Dapron wings. The planes for the most part are downsized proven designs with the power being that of the .049 or .074 built around the profile fuselage. All in all they are a relatively inexpensive and a good subject for the new builder to start.
