Description: Special notes for this item: these pillars are currently in our Belgian warehouse and scheduled to arrive here in our next shipment. Feel free to contact us for arrival details. Description of item for sale: This highly carved pair of pillars is from France and date to the late 1800's or early 1900's. They feature stylized lions with beautiful Renaissance carvings. These would make impressive pillars for a fireplace but would work well in many other locations. They are unfinished on the backs and made for use mounted against a wall or other surface. They are in very good antique condition with only very minor chips and discolorations consistent with their age. Note that the base on one is slightly angled but that is easily correctible when it is mounted on a wall or other surface. There is no woodworm or dry rot whatsoever. When these pillars arrive here at our Oregon facility we will inspect, clean and wax as needed prior to shipping to you. Dimensions: 52.5" high, 6.5" wide and 12.5" deep. Pricing: because we can sell items earlier we don't charge as much. Prices for these advance purchase items are 20-40% below our usual pricing. Payment: you don't need to pay the entire price immediately. We request 50% when you purchase and the balance when the item arrives here in Oregon. Track Page Views WithAuctiva's Counter
