Description: Art Deco era sterling silver cigarette case. Rectangular-form with spring-hinged lid. Engine turned decoration on front side, other side is high polished. Gold washed interior with engine turned design. Hinged lid opens on push of a button. Interior with pierced arrow shaped and spring-hinged cigarette holder bar. Please see and inspect all photos. Hinge and latch are secure. Rectangular cartouche engraved with script Gothic letters "L.E" Marked inside on cigarette holder bar: "W" enclosed a "crescent" for Watrous Mfg. Co.; "Sterling" for .925/1000 silver purity; numerals "83" for pattern or manufacturer's code. Made in Wallingford, CT., ca.1920's. Pictures will tell you more. Approx: Length: 4-11/16in. (118mm.)
