Description: For sale is a gorgeous antique skonvirke brooch by Evald Nielsen (1879-1958) Denmark.The brooch is marked S.J 830s. According to my knowledge this brooch was distributed by S.L. Jacobsen & co (S.J) and designed and crafted by Evald Nielsen. The brooch is skillfully crafted in solid silver (830) and has 3 cabochon amber stones to it. One stone is somewhat different from the others and it may have been replaced at some point (left stone). Condition is used antique good condition. Signs of age and beautiful patina. Pin closes well.It measures 6 cm (2.36") in length and 5.2 cm (2.05") in height. It could probably be used both as a brooch and a pendant. Don't hesitate to contact me if any questions.
