Description: Breyer Twilight Terror (as-is, does NOT work). Estate find. There’s NO box. I only have the loose figure and stand for you. Nothing else is included. The horse measures approximately 13” long, and when it is attached to the stand, the item is just over 10” tall. As I am sure you know, this lightweight stand is not the best quality, so the heavier horse does wobble when you bump the table. The horse does NOT work. When I bought this horse, it was sealed inside a damaged box. I opened and threw away the box. I then unscrewed his belly and found that the batteries were terribly corroded. The inside of the battery compartment was quite nasty. I cleaned out as much debris as I could, scraped the metal so that there would be good contact, added three new batteries (not included), pushed the button, and NOTHING happened. There’s something rattling inside the electronic portion that is probably related to why the horse does not work. It seems that the corrosion has gone deeper into the electronics than we would like. It’s not something that I think can be easily fixed. The horse will have to be loved for what it is, a nonworking Twilight Terror figure. It does NOT work (offered as-is). And again, there are NO batteries included. If you pick the horse up and shake it, you will hear the small piece rattling inside. There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs. I displayed the horse for a few weeks, so it may be a little dusty. The clear plastic base has light scratching and dullness throughout. The edge of the base has a 1.5” superficial hairline of sort that seems to be maker related (it does NOT go all the way through). The edge on the other side of the base has a couple similar but smaller crackle type lines. His belly has a 1/4” area of scratch type wear above the small horse’s head that is either package wear or maker related crudeness. There are similar blemishes here and there. Nothing major. The top of the horse has a faint 1.25” rub line that I can most easily recognize with a light glare. There’s a smaller similar line to his rear. It’s a dark colored horse, so the crudeness and package wear is a little more obvious. The battery cover has a good deal of dull scratching. Two of the top points of the mane have white specks (looks like white paint, picky observation). Please look to the photos to best judge what you are purchasing (bidding on).
