This is a very pretty and desirable ASTRO opalescent pressed glass bowl made by the Jefferson Glass Company about 1904. The Astro pattern is accentuated by a threaded and beaded exterior. The tri-cornered bowl has a tightly-crimped, "candy ribbon" rim. The bowl has a fiery white opalescence. Condition. The bowl is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs, chiggers, or fleabites. It has some of the common internal air bubbles (nonburst) associated with the manufacturing of old opalescent and carnival glass. ... a real beauty!
