Description: Looking for a beautiful addition to your train collection? Here is an Athearn "Blue Box" HO Scale GP-50 Powered Locomotive decorated for the Burlington Northern Railroad. Locomotive has engine number 3047, is painted green and black with a green and white "tiger stripe" on the nose, and was sold as their Kit 4633. Locomotive comes in an Athearn box and was test run and runs great in forward and reverse with headlamp lighting. Athearn announced this model in November 1987 and then in 2009 ceased production of "blue box" kits. Comes with the original blue print diagram. Tested - working.Looks like new!
