Offered for sale is a not easy to find Atlas #0742-2 "O" Scale Trainman Santa Fe (Three Rail) Bay Window Caboose which was only produced in 2010. It is in Mint/Brand New condition: all original and unused in a "FACTORY-SEALED" styrofoam insert that was opened for the first time today for photos. THE CONDITION OF THIS CABOOSE IS BASED ON APPEARANCE ONLY, AND IT WAS NOT TESTED FOR OPERATING PERFORMANCE. This attractive Santa Fe Caboose has a dark red roof, a dark red body with red and yellow bay windows and a yellow middle stripe, dark red car ends and ladders, perfect white and red lettering, and clean, crisp, realistic Santa Fe and ATSF emblems and markings. It is about 10.5 inches long, and it comes with interior illumination with an on/off switch under the chassis, an accurate and colorful paint scheme, die-cast metal couplers, friction bearing caboose trucks and with weighted, detailed under frames. It also comes with a clean and complete, original Atlas window box. The box shows some wear on the front box panel, the end flaps and the box seams, and there is some marking on one end flap, but otherwise it is a good, whole box. This sharp-looking and one year only Atlas "O" Scale Santa Fe (Three Rail) Bay Window Caboose would be a perfect match with any Santa Fe engine, and it would certainly be a very welcome addition to any collection or operating railroad!
