And the chassis is designed to be much shorter than the conventional depth (not your typical block-sized head unit), so the advantage is that there is a larger space for cabling and other accessories. Bluetooth tethering for saving power For running online maps or streaming music, a relatively low bandwidth, e.g. 200 kb/s, is enough. Switch to Bluetooth tethering, as it has the advantage of consuming less power than hotspot. 3. USB Network Tethering (an EXCLUSIVE feature from ATOTO) If you are still insecure about your phone battery, there is a third option. With a USB cable, you can have almost the same bandwidth as with WiFi hotspot, and your phone battery can even charge slightly.
