Description: This is a vintage divided back postcard, unposted and featuring a view of the auditorium and dome of the E.F. Albee Theatre, which was located on Westminster Street in Providence, Rhode Island. The Theatre opened in 1919 and was Providence's first full time movie theatre. It was demolished in 1970 and was replaced with a parking lot. Note that back of postcard shows evidence of postcard previously being mounted in a scrapbook. Does not affect the view on the front. See photos for details.Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases, stains and bent corners. See pics for details and conditions. Reasonable offers will be considered.
