Collectors familiar with Kabana know that the company was started as a small shop in 1975 in New Mexico. Since then, Kabana has come to enjoy world wide attention to their styles. The originality of the designs and the quality of the workmanship is admired in the jewelry industry. All Kabana styles are still painstakingly created in the USA. This is an older version of an ever popular ring style. While the quality of Kabana materials and workmanship never fails, occasionally, extra special materials were available and used. This shows in the use of Premium 4 Star Opal inlays, the excellent quality Tanzanite rounded Cabachon cut center stone, and the heavy weight 14k Gold mounting. The Opal inlays have an outstanding display of sparkling Blue, Green and Teal colors. The center Tanzanite Cabachon cut stone has a strong vivid color and interesting cut. With the surface of the stone being smoothly rounded, all the sparkles that are visible are from the facets below the surface. The smooth stone surface and the bezel mounting combine for a comfortable ring. The ten channel set side Diamonds total .32DTW. Tanzanite is a December Birthstone, and Opal is an October Birthstone.
