Description: Here we have a true President Nixon golf ball made by Spalding. This was made for his personal use, not one of the ones stamped with the Presidential seal that were made as collector’s items and given as souvenirs. This item was gifted to my husband decades ago by someone who served in Nixon’s administration. It was given to her by Nixon himself and I do not know if it was used by him but it definitely came from his personal stash of golf balls that he used. I do not have documentation except for this oral history. But, the ball does exactly match others that have been definitively identified as a Nixon owned personal golf ball. The ball is stamped “President Nixon”. It also has printed “3 DOT” with a black dot underneath and “Spalding-90”. The box is original to the ball but does have some damage, a closing flap is missing on the underside. Please see my detailed photos as an integral part of the condition description.
