Unexpectedly, one week before the big day, the Camaro’s L-88 self-destructed during a test run. There was very little time to source a replacement engine. Rosen reached out to Baldwin’s John Mahler who supplied a new 427/425 crate motor originally destined for a showroom street car. After installing, tuning and breaking it in, this Camaro was the first car Rosen raced repping these powerhouse names in supercar lore.
