"Christo and James represent the Creme of Comic book Dealers - the kind of guys I like to deal with across the counter! And I have!!!" - STERANKO "The Sentinels are Alive and Well! (20-page story, continued from previous issue) The Scarlet Witch has been kidnapped by the recently returned Sentinels, and the Avengers are formulating a plan to try and rescue her from their clutches when they realize that Quicksilver is missing. Quicksilver has decided to act on his own, traveling to the Sentinels' last base, only to find that the base is empty, but that devices were recently taken. Thinking back to the events of the past, he recalls the time just after the Sentinels' last defeat when he, Scarlet Witch, Vanisher, Blob, Mastermind, Unus, and Toad were freed by Larry Trask and Judge Chalmers. Quicksilver realizes that perhaps if anybody moved the devices it's probably Larry Trask. Quicksilver then tracks down Larry Trask to Judge Chalmer's residence and captures Larry in order to learn the location of the Sentinels. While back at Avengers Mansion, the Avengers attempt to learn the location of the Sentinels while the Vision contemplates the offer the Grim Reaper gave him to transfer his mind into the body of Wonder Man. The Avengers eventually pinpoint the location where the Sentinels are located and rush to the Quinjets to rescue Wanda. When Rick Jones attempts to join them they rebuff his request because he has no super powers. While elsewhere Quicksilver is forced to remove the amulet that suppresses Larry Trask's mutant powers before he learns that the Sentinels have built a base in Australia. He then rushes off there, taking Larry Trask with him. In Australia, the Avengers arrive at the ant hill base of the Sentinels, where they are attacked by some defending drones who give the Avengers a hard time. While aboard a commercial airliner, Larry learns (via his mutant powers that allow him to see the future) that the Avengers are not winning their fight, and that the Sentinels' leader, known as Number Two, is plotting to cause a solar flare that will destroy the entire Earth. NOTE: Rick Jones saga continues from this issue in Captain Marvel #22. NOTE: Avengers Quinjet destroyed. NOTE: Corner box contains a standing figure of the Vision."
