A comic in this grade shows some significant moderate wear, but still has not accumulated enough total defects to reduce eye appeal to the point that it is not a desirable copy. Comic is graded in very good+ (VG+) condition according to the Overstreet Price Guide grading guidelines. Fits the criteria for Very Good but with an additional virtue or small accumulation of virtues that improves the comic's appearance by a perceptible amount. Check scans closely for condition and defects. Defects include those consistent with a copy graded in very good condition; cover shows moderate to significant wear, can have an accumulation of dimples and creases, corners may be blunted or abraded, some discoloration, fading, foxing and even some soiling are allowed, multiple bindery defects are allowed, moderate spine roll may be present along with a one-inch spine split, discolored staples as well as some rust migration, the centerfold may be loose or detached at one staple. Note: multiple moderate to minor bindery stresses-mostly on front cover. Abrasion at upper spine corner. Ink rubbing along 'white' borders of back cover. Slight stress lines at upper staple. Slight spine roll on front cover. Minor edge stressing along top edge of back cover. Corners are cut square and sharp (except for upper spine corner). Comic is generally clean and flat. Inks are bright with a slight reduction in reflectivity. Pages are white. This comic will ship in a bag and backing board securely and safely within a Gemini cardboard mailer for $5.95, which includes tracking number and insurance. Larger orders of comics/magazines will ship in a small box. Note: Larger orders may ship USPS Media mail, UPS Ground or Fed-Ex Ground, whichever is cheaper, since most larger orders would typically qualify for the free shipping method [paid by me].
